Handbags, purses, pocketbooks, clutches, totes, hobos……Bags period, I love them all.

I’ve had a fascination, a need, a love for handbags since I can remember.  I picked out my first Easter coat based on the fact that it had a handbag that I would not put down.  There are a number of pic of me just learning how to walk, with my Mommy’s purses on.  I was the only kid in elementary schools with a purse on everyday.   In junior high I switched over to “Jansport” bookbags because I was going thru a Carry one BIG bag stage.   The Total opposite of High School when I carried both….lol.   Unlike most kids my age I’ve always knew, who made the “good” bags and started asking for them when I turned 12.  I got my first Coach bag at 16 and the rest was history.  I actually still have and use that bag…lol.

On a recent trip to back to my other home NY (I moved to MD when I was 15) I was in bag heaven.  From 5th Avenue, to the corner sellers, to the right store on Canal street, to the boutiques with all the cute clothes that I can now fit with my new body ( a whole different blog) I was in HEAVEN.  There were a couple of women who I wanted to say in the nicest voice ” Empty out your junk…Hand over that gorgeous handbag….walk away and nobody gets hurt”.  LOL.  Instead I’ve decided to come back to Maryland, along with three new bags….hehe….work on getting at least a 3.75 GPA in Fashion Merchandising at MSU (GO BEARS), because I’m going to need the big bucks to just afford my habit.

The latest love of my life, a Fendi medium buckled shoulder bag (this one is shown is patent leather)fendi-med-buckled-shoulder-bag.jpg, cost $1,730.00 before tax.

Got to get to work!
